     [Performance and Application]

    Washing and cleaning as well as other chemical industries. Lutensol TO types are primarily used for washing and cleaning in home, industrial and teaching research.

     Because of the nonionic nature of Lutensol TO types, it can be mixed with anionic, cationic and nonionic surfactants or auxiliaries, and is fully compatible with alkyl sulfonates, sulfonates and other sulfides, sulfonates (eg Lutensit) A-LB series, Hostapur SAS), the synergy between the two can achieve high performance. Lutensol TO types are also compatible with cationic dialkylbenzyl dimethyl ammonium chloride based bactericides and other nonionic ionic surfactants such as Lutensol AN, TO, AT, AP, EC, F, GD. , ON series and low foaming surfactants Plurafac LF and Pluronic PE, RPE series, are also very compatible with dyes, pigments, protective colloids, thickeners and other substances with molecular weights in the above range. 
    Detergents 
    Lutensol TO types and other similar nonionic surfactants have become important in recent years. 
    a) For environmental reasons, detergent manufacturers have been working on reducing or eliminating formulations for many years. The amount of sodium tripolyphosphate (STP) is such that it is necessary to increase the amount of nonionic surfactant in the formulation to compensate for the loss of performance due to the reduction of sodium tripolyphosphate (STP). Practice has shown that the medium carbon chain Fatty alcohol polyoxyethylene Ether can be substituted. 
    b) Detergents with high levels of anionic surfactants are only effective for cotton at high concentrations and high temperatures. Detergents suitable for all temperature ranges must be non-ionic in the formulation if they are effective for cotton, chemical fiber and blended fabrics. The washing power of the medium carbon chain Fatty alcohol polyoxyethylene ether can better replace the anion fraction, especially at medium, low temperature and low concentration conditions.
    c) In household detergents, a medium carbon chain Fatty alcohol polyoxyethylene ether can be used to control the foam. The EO number can be as low as possible depending on the design temperature of the detergent. Detergents typically require different foam properties at different temperatures, which can be achieved by varying the ratio of linear alkyl sulfonate, soap and nonionic surfactant in the formulation, if desired. 
    d) Nonionic surfactants containing 7 EO are a good choice for liquid detergents because they are very effective in the 60 °C range. Demand for Lutensol TO7 has skyrocketed as demand for household liquid detergents has grown. 
    High temperature powders: 
    We recommend Lutensol TO8, T10 and T12 for high temperature formulations up to 95 ° C, either alone or in combination with Lutensol AO series. 
    Powder used at 60 ° C: 
    Lutensol TO series with medium EO number is good at 60 ° C and works well in low phosphorus and phosphorus free formulations. We recommend Lutensol TO7, T8, which can be used alone or in combination with Lutensol AO series. use. 
    The mixture of Lutensol TO shows excellent low foaming properties, either alone or in combination with low phosphorus and phosphorus free formulations. 
    Lutensol TO5, Lutensol TO6 and Lutensol TO8 combine to exhibit effective degreasing properties. 
    Lutensol TO5 or Lutensol TO6 and Plurafac LF403 can be used in low foaming detergents used at 60-70 °C. 
    Mild liquid and powder wool lotion, hand lotion:

    Cleaner 
    Lutensol TO washed with high performance and oil dispersibility, and is very effective Emulsifier wetting agent, thus widely used of these properties requires washing, rinsing and industrial production place. Low EO number Lutensol TO is very emulsifiable for mineral oils, which is very useful for cleaning some cold jobs. 
    Lutensol TO with a medium range of EO is suitable for a wide range of washing applications in industrial, home and teaching research at higher temperatures. 
    In some formulations it may be necessary to add large amounts of acids, bases, salts or organic solvents. Higher concentrations of these inorganic salts, acids and bases will reduce the solubility of Lutensol TO. 
    However, these are not enough to affect the performance of Lutensol TO. Although these electrolytes do not cause decomposition of Lutensol TO, they can cause turbidity or delamination of the solution, and if the product is homogeneous, its performance will not be affected.

    Neutral cleaning agents: 
    Water-soluble Lutensol TO8, Lutensol TO10, Lutensol TO12 and anionic surfactants such as Lutensit A-LB, Hostapur series, as well as chelating agents, dispersing agents, have good performance in neutral lotions. It is also advisable to add Solubilizer sodium isopropyl benzene sulfonate to obtain a highly concentrated formulation.

    Acid cleaning: 
    These products are based on caustic soda, carbonates, silicates and sulfonates. They are mainly used for processing metals such as electroplating, coating, and anodizing. Lutensol TO8, Lutensol TO10, Lutensol TO12 performs well with anionic surfactants such as Hostapur series, as well as chelating agents and dispersing agents (Suparex K). 
    Lutensol TO8, Lutensol TO10, Lutensol TO12 can be used in acid leaching solutions such as degreasing, descaling and descaling based on hydrochloric acid, sulfuric acid, and phosphoric acid.

    Household cleaning: 
    Household cleaning is generally neutral, or it can be weakly acidic or weakly alkaline. Lutensol TO6, Lutensol TO7, Lutensol TO8, Lutensol TO10, Lutensol TO12 and other anionic and nonionic surfactants, as well as chelating agents, can be used. Dispersant. 
    Lutensol TO12, Lutensol TO15 and Lutensol TO20 can be used with our Pluriol® E as a base for solid lotions.

    Solvent-based cleaning: 
    Lutensol TO3, Lutensol TO5 can be used together with Hostapur to emulsify hydrocarbons such as kerosene and white oil.

    Emulsified 
    Lutensol TO is usually a good Emulsifier in addition to other good properties, which can be measured in terms of HLB associated with the EO number. 
    Lutensol TO can be combined with anionic Emulan and nonionic Emuphor series Emulsifier, as well as with alkali soaps, amine soaps, and sulfonated fats. Laboratory experiments are the best way to determine the specific product and formulation. For different requirements, electrolytes, suspended or water-soluble solids, organic solvents, experiments are essential. Special emulsification formulations are often used under unconventional temperature or mechanical conditions. 
    Lutensol TO5, Lutensol TO6, Lutensol TO7, Lutensol TO8, Lutensol TO10, Lutensol TO12, Lutensol TO15, Lutensol TO20 can be used to emulsify aromatic solvents such as benzene, toluene, xylene and solvent naphtha. 
    Lutensol TO7, Lutensol TO8, Lutensol TO10, Lutensol TO12, Lutensol TO15, Lutensol TO20 can be used in emulsion polymerization for emulsified monomers such as acrylic acid, ethylene and styrene compounds, either alone or in combination with anionic Emulsifier. 
    The dispersibility of the dispersing 
    surfactant plays an important role in the washing and emulsification process to ensure that the poorly soluble solids, the polar solvent or the mixture of water and solvent are sufficiently dispersed. Lutensol TO is an effective dispersant in the grinding process. It can be used to disperse solids formed by precipitation, aggregation or other chemical reactions. It can be used alone or in combination with a protective colloid. 
    Wetting 
    Lutensol TO is a very effective wetting agent for a wide range of purification, refining, mixing, soaking and surface treatment processes.

    Lutensol TO3 can be used as a raw material for the production of sulfonate esters. 
    Instead of Alkylphenol ethoxylate (APEO),
